My Freshman Year
My very first year of high school.
This was my very first time going to a non private school, and I had no idea what it would be like. However, I was placed on an awesome team. My teachers were Mrs. Quinlin, Mrs. Shirk, and Mr. I; Mrs. Quinlin was my physics teacher and she could explane some of the most complicated physic concepts into everyday situations. Mrs. Quinny taught me how to be skeptical and boosted my confidence as an engineer, but what stuck with me the most is that science is constantly evolving, it never stops. Mrs. Shirk is one of the best teachers I have ever had; she showed me the humanity behind writing and language. Mrs. Shirk was always prepared for a lesson, always got things done and showed me the art of writing. Mr. I put me through some very frustrating situations; he would always make me ask myself why and how. Mr. I taught me crucial the crucial skills of always asking why, which is important in any field but especially in math.
My team was called The Crew and we had the coolest banner ever. I made unforgettable memories with my team; we had challenging and en lighting projects. This year has also changed my mindset; I am ready for any challenge sophomore year is willing to throw out.
